About us
We are a family run business passionate about caring for animals. We provide a friendly service looking after your pet in your own home. Whether you are busy at work or on holiday or enjoying a day out we can be there for you and your pets individual requirements. We can offer an overnight stay with your pet if required for added piece of mind. We offer Dog walking services around the Rushden area and nearby villages We only walk a maximum of two dogs at a time and only from the same household. We do not transport your dog. The walking starts from your own home. Dogs are kept on a lead at all times unless we have written confirmation . Dog walks are up to an hour long starting at 15 minutes/ 30 minutes/ 45 minutes / 1 hour.
Home visits for cats and dogs, duties include cleaning up any waste, topping up/changing water bowls, feeding if required, playtime and fusses. Prices start from £8.00.
Dog training 1-1
Ricky has many years of experience working with and training dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. Ricky has competed in working trials. He is an accredited dog handler within British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers and has also completed a foundation course in dog handling. Ricky also has trained as a narcotics dog handler and worked in this field in the private sector. Also providing protection services with dogs to a wide range of clients.
All of Ricky’s training was completed at South Staffs Dog Training where he was assessed by an ex-Home Office Instructor. Certificates can be produced on request.
Obedience training: basic, intermediate and advanced.
Search training: for articles in various environments (scent based).
Improving your relationship with your dog through proven positive reinforcement methods.
Solving behavioural problems: separation issues, pulling on leash, jumping up, socialising and aggression.
Balanced training , positive reinforcement methods used for shaping and luring desired behaviour.
Cat minding
We offer cat minding visits whilst you are away . Each of our visits, includes emptying litter trays out , topping up dry and wet food bowls, fresh water put down and plenty of fusses. This service is particularly ideal for cats that are very timid and shy who cannot cope with environmental changes.
